* I decided to try these SMD IC to DIP IC pcb adapters
Hand soldered, great results! Will probably try a few different high quality chips in this way :D
This remains now a hobby, but I used to do: Handmade clones of Guitar & Bass Effect Pedals / Effect modding / Rewiring and Guitar Setups+levelling+refrets / Amplifier Repairs / General Audio Repairs

Early 80's US Fender Lead I setup
* Had an early 80's US Fender Lead I in for a setup
Although this guitar has fretwire use and will need a refret in some point in the future (the owner just wanted a setup/refresh), I did shine the fretwire and now plays like butter. Had to rehammer in some fretwire , and now it has a pretty decent low action (about 1.5-1.6 mm at the 20th fret for the thinner strings), with no bend choking, minimum possible rattle.
I also cleaned the electronics, and buffed some metal parts a little + added springs to the saddle screws as it had some nuts before, which I didn't care for.
It plays great now!

Squier Bullet Strat Indonesia setup
* Had an Indo Squier Bullet Strat come in because the owner wanted to use it left handed, although it's a right handed guitar.
Luckily I had a nut taken off from a guitar that was left handed (Squier CV50) and I could use it on this one!
Did some fretwire polish, tweaking, and a full setup. Stock wiring is pretty decent, and it also has a paint shielding done stock.

Dunlop 535Q Wah
* Had a Dunlop 535Q wah in for some connectivity issues and will see how it does in the long run. Redid some solder spots, and for the moment this fixed the intermittence. I checked all the other lead free solder spots, some had an imperfect connection but did not have problems conducting (thanks Dunlop quality control!! Pfffff)
