It switches between the stock 1n4148 diode pair / no diodes(more output and less saturation) / 1n4001 diode pair (a little fatter sounding,but a subtle effect in comparison to the stock 1n4148 pair)

The boost after the overdrive made a LOT of difference , it sounded great!
