Strymon Favorite style footswitch clone

Hi! Commonly it's put on the positive. Btw, if you do this pedal, the wires at the jacks are a little inversed(you can easily try). I couldn't on the spot, because I didn't have the Strymon gear that went with this , so I couldn't test :)
But the resistor is welded to the negative or positive side of the led?
